Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

1. Consumer health data involved

Depending on how you use Weektable, consumer health data may include:

• allergies, dietary restrictions, disliked or excluded ingredients, and nutrition goals;
• estimated calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and related nutrition calculations;
• recipes, planned or cooked meals, ratings, searches, and recommendation interactions that may imply a food or wellness preference;
• pantry and grocery entries that may reveal dietary or health-related choices; and
• inferences Weektable makes from those inputs to rank recipes or estimate nutrition.

Weektable does not diagnose a condition, create a medical record, or replace professional medical advice.

2. Sources

We receive this information directly from you, from your interactions with Weektable, from members of a shared kitchen you deliberately join, and from calculations based on recipes and ingredient data. We do not purchase consumer health data from data brokers.

3. Why we collect and use it

• Apply dietary restrictions, allergy settings, exclusions, and ingredient priorities.
• Rank recipe suggestions and explain why a recipe matches.
• Estimate meal, daily, and weekly nutrition.
• Reconcile pantry quantities and prepare grocery lists.
• Maintain security, troubleshoot a request, and comply with law.

Weektable does not use consumer health data for advertising or sell it. A personal rating may affect your recommendations; an eligible aggregate community rating may only break an otherwise close recommendation tie and does not reveal who rated a recipe.

4. When it is disclosed

Weektable may disclose consumer health data only in these limited circumstances:

• Infrastructure and support processors: account identifiers and the stored dietary, meal, pantry, grocery, or nutrition fields needed to host, secure, back up, troubleshoot, or delete the service.
• Shared kitchens: accepted kitchen members see the shared planning, pantry, grocery, dietary, and nutrition categories described before you accept a kitchen invitation. Friendship alone shares none of it.
• At your direction: a grocery handoff may receive generic ingredient names and required quantities, or another connection may receive only the categories identified before you deliberately open it.
• Legal and safety: where reasonably necessary to comply with valid legal process or protect rights and safety.

These are the categories of third parties that may receive the data. Weektable has no corporate affiliates and does not disclose consumer health data to data brokers, advertisers, or social networks.

Weektable does not publish pantry, grocery, allergy, dietary, nutrition-goal, or macro information to a Friends or Global feed. A recipe or cooking activity you deliberately share may still reveal a food preference, so review its audience before posting.

5. Your choices and rights

You may:

• remove optional dietary, allergy, nutrition-goal, pantry, or grocery information;
• leave a shared kitchen or ask its owner to remove you;
• withdraw an optional integration;
• access, correct, or export your information; and
• request deletion of consumer health data or your Weektable account.

Use Account & privacy in the signed-in app or email isakknox@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. We aim to acknowledge and ordinarily complete a verified request within seven calendar days, subject to lawful exceptions. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with “Consumer health data appeal.”

6. Retention and security

We retain this information while your account is active and as needed to provide the feature you requested. Deletion may be delayed only where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, a rights dispute, or restricted backup expiration. We use access controls, encrypted connections, managed infrastructure, and purpose-limited service roles, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes and contact

We will update this page and provide any notice or consent required before materially expanding the categories, collection, use, or disclosure of consumer health data.
